Community events*
- October 18 - November 6: The Health Department and Council for Senior Citizens are offering Flu Shot Clinics for seniors at several locations throughout Durham. Contact your local senior center or call 688-8247 for more details.
- October 20, 11-3:30: Parks and Rec celebrates disability awareness month with Unity in the Community Day at IR Holmes Recreation Center at Campus Hills. For more information: 560-4355.
- October 27, 6-8pm: Parks and Rec will host Fall Festivals for children ages 0-12 at Lyon Park, Edison Johnson, IR Holmes, and Weaver Street Recreation Centers. For more information: 560-4355.
- October 31, 6-9pm: Parks and Rec will host Hallow-Eno - tricks and treats at West Point on the Eno. For more information: 560-4355.
- November 3: Durham Health Summit: "Listening to the Voices of Durham's Uninsured," 8 - 1:30pm, Durham Civic Center. For more information: communityrelations.duhs.duke.edu
- November 15 - December 31: Seniors Health Insurance Information Program help sessions for Medicare prescription drug programs. Mondays and Wednesdays 1:30 - 5pm, Durham Center for Senior Life. For more information, 688-8247 or 560-0521.
